Car sales have also skyrocketed in Covid, the survey says
A few days ago, a news was received from the World Trade Organization. That news agency presented based on statistics from around the world. It was claimed that the rate of trade was gradually increasing in all the countries of the world.
During the early stages of the Covid 19 transition, that is, during the lockdown, the world's economic transactions were in a very normal state. That situation is changing little by little, and the economy is recovering - as claimed by the World Trade Organization.
It was seen that HDFC has recently joined that tune. A recent survey by the company says that the demand and sales of cars in our country have reached the pre-coveted stage again. In other words, even though the sale was stopped in the middle of the lockdown, now it is almost like calling for a ban on the dead Ganges!
HDFC reports that sales of not only four-wheelers but also two-wheelers have increased significantly. Even the amount of tractor sales across the country is astonishing!
Economists are identifying several reasons behind the increase in tractor sales. The rural economy is relatively strong due to the increase in the budget for 100 days of work. The purchasing power of rural people has increased. Favorable monsoon has helped to increase this year's yield. As a result, the growing sales of tractors have shown a glimmer of hope in the corona-era automobile industry.
Not to mention another staggering statistic about the sale of four-wheelers in this context. A survey by a car leasing startup called 'PompomPom' shows that people are more inclined to buy old, used cars than to buy new ones!
From a regional point of view, it is the oldest car in northern India. 36% of people are buying old cars and taking them home. 38% of people in the West are buying used cars. In South India that figure is 26%. In Eastern India, 11% of people are in the forefront of buying used cars.
If this continues, the Nifty Auto Index will rise by 20% and production will increase by 85-90%, according to HDFC.
